Blenheim Airport is located 5km from the western outskirts of Blenheim in the heart of the wine region and close to accommodation and attractions. Three airlines offer regular scheduled flights into the region; Air New Zealand flies directly from Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Charter flights are available up to and including 737’s. Picton receives more than half a dozen ferry sailings a day from Wellington and the coastal train from Christchurch adds another scenic dimension to land transportation along with the traditional modes of coach and car.
